Today Johnny Cash would have been 80 years old.  R.I.P. JR, long live JR.

In 1961 Cash starred in the semi-noir B-Picture Five Minutes To Live (also released as Door To Door Maniac).  He played Johnny Cabot, a guitar pickin’ home invasion psychopath.  He probably thought of this film when he was himself the victim of a home invasion at his house in Jamaica decades later.  The title track is still one of the most dangerous Cash tunes ever recorded…
